“An Adaption Movement of Garden Indonesia” is a sub-theme at MAG21.The global pandemic brings positive and negative consequences. Adaptation is the option to survive and overcome it. Garden Indonesia elaborates on our culture, environment and heritage through the science technology to society. These adaptation stories of Garden Indonesia are the culture actions that we would like to spread through this showcase to rise up beyond the challenges.

Kumoratih is currently Chair of the Executive Board of Negeri Rempah Foundation, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to public education and learning experience, particularly of historical, social and cultural issues relating to Indonesia’s diversity. Kushardjanto is also the Co-Founder and Managing Director of GELAR-Presenting Indonesia, a community-based cultural conservation through sustainable travel. Kumoratih will tell you a glimpse of the history of the spice route in the Indonesian archipelago and local wisdom knowledge preserved in tradition the spice route and how it has changed the world today.
